Beagle develops exclusive solution that can display the name of city & POI on Photograph.
Beagle has a plan to penetrate into Location Based Services (LBS) market with their own technology that they developed themselves using GeoTagging.
GeoTagging is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media such as photographs that can help users find a wide variety of location specific information.
The Photo sharing sites, Panoramio and Flickr are regarded as representative sites to use GeoTagging that enable content to be found via a location search.
The exclusive solution with GeoTagging by Beagle GEPIX is a way to display the name of Point of Interests or administrative boundary names based on a city level on the photograph when matching the coordinates stored in GPS hardware with embedded metadata. It helps a user to tag their photos by location and even categorize them by city.
For instance, the existing GeoTagging tech only provides the geographical information matching with online map when taking a photo in the certain place. But when Beagle’s solution comes in, the name of POI or administrative administrative boundary names will pop up on the Photograph. (The Photograph in U.S displays up to state and city. For example, if you take a photo in Los Angeles, the address, Los Angeles, California appears on the photo.)
User can have a glimpse of a part of Beagle’s solution within functions of ST 1000 camera Samsung recently has launched. When taking the Photograph by ST 1000, user can not only check the administrative boundary names based on a city level photograph was taken, but upload them to the blog or the web site via the Wi-Fi.
