GeoTagging is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media such as photographs that can help users find a wide variety of location specific information.

The Photo sharing sites, Panoramio and Flickr are regarded as representative sites to use GeoTagging that enable content to be found via a location search.

The exclusive solution with GeoTagging by Beagle GEPIX is a way to display the name of Point of Interests or administrative boundary names based on a city level on the photograph when matching the coordinates stored in GPS hardware with embedded metadata.  It helps a user to tag their photos by location and even categorize them by city.

For instance, the existing GeoTagging tech only provides the geographical information matching with online map when taking a photo in the certain place. Especially, As a company based in S.korea. We’ve been completely unaware of what is going on iPhone and LBS even though S. korea is well known for excellent wide ranged network infrastructure. By the way you will be notice the fact that Korea is facing ship and allow people to use the iPhone within end of this year 2009 according to the News. We willstart to have big demands for usage of iPhone as soon as iPhone spreads.

But, Still it’s not that sure whether iPhone’s debut will be all the rage across the Korean people, because we are one of the broadest markets for cellphones, with 93% of the population subscribing to mobile service by Samsung and LG mainly. We can expect that Apple will likely ramp up price competition with them.

The name of new joint venture is Mercury & Mars co., Ltd. from the partnership and they will promote the various business opportunities on emerging LBS market place.
